MUNCIE, IN- They’re young, talented, energetic, and they’re celebrating nearly four decades of musical magic with a kaleidoscope of America’s favorite songs. They are the all new, 44th anniversary edition of the critically acclaimed BALL STATE UNIVERSITY SINGERS and they’re coming to (place) on (date) at (time).

Again this year, as they have for the over forty seasons, the University Singers 40-member cast will burst onstage with exciting music for all ages and songs for every occasion. The University Singers, whose average age is just 19, is backed by decades-long tradition of excellence and innovation in the art of entertainment. Their youthful excitement, energy, and talent will light up the stage as they sing, dance, and play selections from the nearly fifty songs of every type and style included in this year’s show.

Imagine the thousands of popular songs the University Singers have presented in forty-two years of recordings, in radio and TV, and live on stage across America and around the world as Indiana’s Official Goodwill Ambassadors. They delight in presenting folk songs, love songs, Broadway show tunes, opera, jazz, Top-40 hits, and anything else they can find to be exciting, beautiful, or just plain fun.

The list is endless, and the talented kids from Ball State once again put together a package of old and new standard hits, ballads, novelties, sacred, patriotic, and pop songs to create a musical showcase you won’t want to miss.

Twenty singers/dancers and a ten-piece orchestra are supported by sound and lighting technicians to present an ever-changing combination of show segments. Breathtaking solos, duets, instrumental features, unaccompanied ensemble singing, and precision choreographed routines are all orchestrated and presided over by University Singers Director and Master of Ceremonies, Jeffrey Richard Carter.

Dr. Carter, a performer and musician of over twenty years whose experience includes musical theatre, community choruses, summer camps and show choirs, ensures that every facet of every show is "picture perfect" before the curtain goes up.
